1st June 2020 Re-Opening Soon Letter to Patients We have been keeping a close watch on the situation with respects to the Coronavirus pandemic and making week by week assessments on the safety of dentistry and the guidance and regulations that come from various dental bodies (see below) Whilst we have been temporarily closed there have been a few Urgent Dental Care Centres that the NHS has provided for emergency dental care. Fortunately, we have only had a handful of emergencies at our practice and all these patients have been managed with Advice, Analgesics, and Antibiotics where necessary. Whilst we make plans to re-open, we must still put the interests and safety of staff and patients as a top priority. We will need to screen patients, and assess the urgency of the dental treatment. New Addition We have some exciting news! On September 2nd 2020 we will be welcoming a new member to our awesome team, dentist Paul Gaisford BDS. Paul, will be helping at the practice on a part time basis as from September along side Chris and Caroline helping patients improve their smiles with a growing interest of aesthetic dentistry. Outside of dentistry Paul has a young family and is a very keen runner and open water swimmer, I guess he'll be putting the rest of the staff through their paces, watch this space!   ...

School Visits This month Caroline and Leigh had the opportunity to visit the Year 4 group at Ringwood School. With arms full of information, snacks and props Leigh and Caroline put together a fun and interactive presentation for all the boys and girls. Discussions and questions were answered about how we look after our teeth, prevention, sugary snacks and effective brushing. We need to teach our younger generation the effects of sugar on our bodies and also the damage to our teeth and help them to make better choices                     ...
