Chris has worked in dental practice for nearly 20 years. He has continued post-graduate studies for all of this time, taking a Certificate in advanced restorative dentistry in 2003, and a Diploma in Dental Implantology since 2007. Chris has been delivering advanced dentistry, including crown and bridgework, for the duration of his career. In the last decade, he has been placing an average of 30 implant cases per year, with an exceptional success rate. He is able to use crowns, bridges and dentures to replace missing teeth, either with or without the use of dental implants.
Chris is a friendly and approachable dentist with a soft and considerate chair-side manner. He has developed a philosophy of dental care around minimal intervention, maximum longevity, offering a wide range of treatment options, and tailoring treatment to patients’ individual requirements.
Chris was the principal of a large private dental practice on the south coast for 13 years and gained the Investors in People Recognition in 2001, the BDA Good Practice award in 2005, and the Care Quality Standard Inspection in 2010. Chris has always wanted to see that his dental surgeries are not only delivering a quality dental service but are also compliant with all the modern regulatory bodies.
Chris accepted a position to work as an Expert Witness for the General Dental Council in 2014 and assists the council in preparing reports for cases of Fitness to Practice at dental tribunals. This work involves assessing dentistry against the plethora of dental standards issued by the dental institutions across the UK. Chris will act as an Expert Witness at the Tribunals in London where the cases have escalated to a committee hearing.
Chris is a family man with Christian values. He plays in the local squash leagues for fitness, enjoys cycling for the scenery, and loves watching the Rugby for relaxation!

Caroline qualified from Bristol University (with husband Chris) in 1998. She has worked in dental practices in Suffolk, Poole and Highcliffe and has managed to balance a dental career with the responsibility of being a mother to five children.
Caroline has always had an interest in family dentistry, giving the extra time required to treat children and the more nervous patients. In 2014 she appeared on BBC’s South Today programme explaining the issues with dental phobia, and it’s management.
Caroline has a passion for cosmetic dentistry and aesthetics. She offers a range of treatments for replacing old silver amalgams for new white fillings/onlays and crowns, tooth whitening and simple alignment of teeth using clear aligners.
Caroline is a friendly and approachable dentist with a very soft chair-side manner. She always takes great care to put patients’ at ease and ensure that they have a comfortable experience.

Steven is one of the UK’s foremost Clinical Dental Technicians, he started his career in technical dentistry in 1992. He went on to graduate with the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of England holding a diploma in Clinical Dental Technology and the world renowned International Denturist Education Centre, George Brown College, Toronto, Canada gaining an Advanced Diploma in Denturism with Honours.
In 2004, he opened up his own Dental Laboratory and then Denture Clinic ‘ First Impressions Denture Centre’, which is based on the outskirts of The New Forest. He also works in conjunction with patients’ own dentists and several referral dental practices, which enables him to offer his patients whom require more specialist dental care and treatments a wider variety of options.
Steven is talented at producing dentures which have the appearance of natural teeth. He achieves this by and combining his first rate clinical skills, excellent technical flair and by developing supportive relationships with each patient.
Steven has passed on his knowledge and enthusiasm to student Clinical Dental Technicians as a clinical tutor and assessor for the Clinical Dental Technology course at the University of Central Lancashire. He now offers his years of experience and expertise directly to his own patients and referrals from other general dental practitioners.
Each year his commitment to delivering the highest standards of prosthetic denture treatment sees him frequently attending courses to both nationally and internationally to learn latest advances in techniques and materials.
Leianne qualified in 2001 from the Eastman Dental Institute in London as a dental hygienist and therapist. She worked with Chris from the beginning and they have a great rapport and understanding with regards to preventative care and working together to support patients. Leianne has a soft and understanding manner and is a very experienced hygienist. She will always go the extra mile to ensure that patients have a comfortable experience.
Julie has been working alongside Chris (dentist) since 1999. They worked together for a few years at a busy practice in Bournemouth where Julie was predominantly working as a dental nurse. When Chris took ownership of his first dental practice in Highcliffe he asked Julie to head up the reception team and customer care.
Julie has a natural gift of communication, and with her knowledge of dentistry is able to respond to the needs of patients outside of the surgery. She deals with appointments, payments, finance and patient enquiries. But more importantly, Julie keeps the waiting area a relaxed and friendly place to be.
Alongside her reception role, Julie also leads the dental team in compliance areas such as Information Governance, Data Protection, Safeguarding of Children and Vulnerable adults, Disability regulation, Health & Safety and Fire Management, Fees and Finance and Legal and Ethical issues.
Outside of dentistry, Julie enjoys health & fitness at the local David Lloyd, keeping up with friends and family in Ringwood, trips out in her Blue VW T4 campervan, and singing along to all sorts of music – mostly in tune!
Lilli has been working alongside Chris (dentist) since 2005. She joined the dental team at Chris’s last practice in Highcliffe and was one of the first staff members to obtain the more protracted dental nurse qualification in 2006. Lilli has always been keen to progress her nursing skills and has become a key surgical nurse assisting Chris with Implant Dentistry since 2007.
Lilli is a skilful and experienced dental nurse and has now taken role as Practice Manager and with her natural rapport with patients and ability to allay their dental fears she is a popular member of the team.
To compliment her role as a dental and surgical nurse Lilli also leads the dental team in compliance areas such as Infection Control and Sterilisation, Waste Management, Water Systems & Legionella Prevention and oversees the Clinical ordering and Stock Management at the practice.
Outside of dentistry, Lilli enjoys her small holding in West Moors where she had a variety of animals and pets. Lilli enjoys walking the two dogs, mowing the lawns, and clearing the leaves! For relaxation, Lilli enjoys trips and camps in her White VW T4 camper van, and is never short of an idea when it comes to adventure!
Leigh has been working alongside Chris since 1998 and was the first nurse to assist him after his graduation from Bristol University. Leigh had been working as a veterinary nurse and for a short time as a qualified dental nurse – and can be thanked for getting Chris through these apprentice years in dentistry. Chris asked Leigh to join him as the head clinical nurse at a practice in Highcliffe where they worked together for 16 years.
Leigh is a highly skilled dental nurse, with a depth of knowledge and understanding of dental techniques. Alongside Lilli, she has been a key surgical nurse assisting Chris with the more involved implant procedures at the practice. Leigh has a very soft and fun manner with the patients’ which has always been a complimentary combination when working alongside the dentist.
It was only in 2009 when patients had to see slightly less of Leigh as she started a family and now has two wonderful boys Stanley and Harvey. However it never completely stopped her work and Leigh has managed to balance life as a busy and caring mum and a busy and caring dental nurse!
To compliment her role as Lead dental and surgical nurse Leigh also leads the dental team in compliance areas such as Radiation Protection, Emergency Medicine and Medical Emergencies, Dental Product management, and other areas of clinical compliance.
Outside of dentistry Leigh can be found on the Netball court, down the gym, in the swimming pool, on a paddle board, and holding onto her two young boys! When its time for relaxation Leigh takes off in her white T5 campervan!
Becca started her dental career in November 2016 at a busy Minor Oral Surgery referral practice in Dorchester. It was here that Becca developed her reassuring and gentle chairside manner to put anxious patients at ease.
In March 2020, Becca gained her National Diploma in Dental Nursing. Shortly after, Becca also undertook the more protracted post-graduate course in Dental Radiography, successfully becoming a dental radiographer in October 2022.
Becca joined Southfield in November 2021 and has settled in very well, becoming a popular member of the team. Southfield is the first fully private practice that Becca has worked in and has thrived learning about more advanced and varied dental treatments provided in private practice.
Outside of Southfield, Becca enjoys spending her time ice skating and keeping fit at a local fitness group as well as spending time with her family and friends.
Paul qualified from the Kings Dental College in London as a mature student, with his first degree in Sports Science from Loughborough University (with honours).
He had previous careers serving as a British Army Officer and also as a Police Officer in the MET. This experience has given Paul an excellent skillset of communication and he prides himself on having the highest of ethical standards. Paul has a genuine caring nature that makes it easy to put patients’ interests first, and to out the interest of the patient first.
Paul has gained further postgraduate qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons awarding him the postnominals of MJDF. He has an interest in oral surgery and a wide range of expertise in dentistry to include restorative work of fillings, onlays, crowns and bridges, root fillings and the fabrication of dentures.
Outside of dentistry, and with a background in personal training and the military, Paul can be found competing in long distance races in swimming, running and cycling. The longer the better! He lives locally and has a wife and young child.

Kayley started her career in dentistry as a Dental Nurse in 2011, working in both the NHS and Private dental sectors before pursuing her dream of becoming a Dental Hygienist and Therapist. She successfully completed her training at The University of Portsmouth with a BSc Hons degree in 2016. Kayley always strives to achieve outstanding dental hygiene care and oral health advice for all of her patients. Kayley regularly attends courses and completes training to continue her professional development.
In her free time, she enjoys dog walks with her two Spaniels, going to local comedy and music shows as well as swimming to keep fit.
