Treatment Procedure
After an initial consultation with our dental team, we will take x-rays and a CT scan of your teeth and mouth so that we can get a clear idea of what we’re dealing with. Our team will need to discuss your general health and wellbeing to make sure that you’re in a fit condition to have the procedure. If necessary, you will need to have consultations with a range of dental specialists to ensure that you end up with suitable care.
The procedure itself involves our team first removing the damaged tooth if this has not already been done. We will then prepare your jawbone for surgery before fitting a metal post dental implant into the target area. This will take several months to heal, after which our team will fit an abutment extension onto the post. A couple of weeks later, we will be able to fit the crown into your mouth, which will give the appearance of a real and natural tooth.
For the entirety of this process, we put the needs of our patients first. You can rely on our dental team to make sure that you’re comfortable with all the work we’re carrying out. We will consult with you thoroughly throughout the process to make sure that the healing process is moving along as planned. If you have any queries or concerns regarding our dental implant procedure, be sure to contact our staff, and they will put your mind at ease.
