Home Whitening
Should you wish to undertake your teeth whitening in the comfort of your very own home, our home whitening option is ideal. We’ll take impressions of your teeth to create customised trays that are worn with bleaching gel for a set amount of time each day over a few weeks. You’ll then visit us for a follow-up consultation to check if your whitening treatment has been successful.
Our Recommendations
We recommend that you only use home whitening that is recommended by professionals, such as our own kit, to ensure that we can monitor your teeth and avoid any side effects from occurring. To maintain the whiteness of your teeth, we advise avoiding food and drink that may cause staining, and to brush your teeth twice a day.
Teeth whitening does not provide permanent results but home whitening trays can be reused if a top-up is necessary.
Internal Whitening
Our internal teeth whitening option is ideal for those who want a brighter smile following root canal surgery. A hole is drilled into the tooth in question, and a whitening agent is inserted, before being sealed with a temporary filling. A week later we will then remove the bleach and the temporary filling. If the results are not as dramatic as anticipated, this process can be repeated to achieve the desired shade.
The Process of Internal Whitening
When the tooth is whitened to the desired shade, the hole is then permanently sealed with a composite filling to create a white and natural looking appearance.
